Request to Drop/Withdraw from a Student Success Seminar Course and/or ENG 101R
As an EKU student, you are required to enroll in a mandatory (3) credit hour Student Success Seminar during your first semester at the University, excluding summer. If you are a "Learning Contract" student, you may also be placed in a Learning Community in which you are required to take your Student Success Seminar in conjunction with ENG 101R or approved alternative.
If you are enrolled in either a Student Success Seminar and/or ENG 101R you must complete this form to request the course be removed from your schedule.
Students who earn a grade of “W,” “F,” or “FN” in a Student Success Seminar or ENG 101R must repeat the course the following term. Please speak to your academic advisor or the Director of First-Year Courses and Learning Communities before making the decision to withdraw from either course. It is important that you are made fully aware of the possible repercussions from withdrawing from a course.
