One of the unique aspects of our Student Success Seminars is that our GSD 101 class is taught almost exclusively by EKU staff who are committed to student success and support our mission and vision. These instructors tend to become students' primary faculty connection to the university and are often the first to share in the students' struggles and successes.
The call for instructors and application process is currently open and will close on Wednesday, July 24. Candidates will be selected for interviews the last week of July. New Instructors will be required to attend a mandatory training on August 7th. They will also be expected to fully participate in the Classroom Innovation Program.
To be eligible to teach GSD 101, EKU employees must be classified as exempt staff and have the support of their immediate supervisor.
