EKU ALD Officer Application Form

The positions available are Vice President (President Elect), Secretary, Treasurer, Operations Officer, and Communications Officer. Vice Presidents agree to a two-year term and become President after the first year. Former officers have the option of serving as Senior Advisors after their terms end. Applications will be solicited in the fall and new positions take effect on January 1 of each year. 

Applicants should begin by reading the ALD Officer Position Descriptions located here. Candidates will be reviewed by a committee based upon their skills, qualifications, experience, and the quality of their responses. Take your time in crafting your responses to the questions asked. If you feel that you are lacking experience in an area, do not let that discourage you from applying. We know that most of our students are in thier first few years of college. We want ALD to be a place to gain experience. So, tell us about your personality, life goals, and why you think you would be a good fit for the organization. Finally, if you really want to be an ALD Officer, you are encouraged to apply for more than one position. This will maximize your chances of joining our group of leaders.
